After a lifetime of creating in many different mediums, I began drawing my
own images in 2005. I knew a bit about Photoshop, so this seemed the
perfect mix. I began by combining my photography and drawings along
with scanning found objects and  textiles, and altering them in Photoshop
to end with a digital print.
Digital altering then evolved into painting on
traditional substrates in 2006, and fabric painting in late 2006/early 2007.
I've found my niche (for now anyway!) in fabric painting, and enjoy sewing
on my paintings and adding them to purses, wall quilts and art books,
as well as teaching fabric painting in workshops around the country.

I've met so many new friends while traveling and teaching, as well as online
 through my business
, and even more after I joined the blog world in
July of 2006. What fun that is. I love the interactive format that wasn't possible
with just a web site. My blog is like writing to friends... more personal even
though I'm talking to people from all over the world. How cool is that.

Feel free to email anytime... I will always answer. Sometimes very quickly,
and sometimes not, but I do make it priority to respond as soon as I can.
